On Saturday December 24 was released the list of the preset players that will be representing the state of "Florida" at U15 in the most competetive Futsal Tournament in the Nation "Futsal Nationals" (U.S. Futsal National). Naples being the only city in the entire state to have a league affiliated to the federation governing the sport in the United States will be responsible for representing the state of Florida.
At this point, the delegates of the teams together with the board of Naples Futsal made a list of the pre-selected players based on the Eagles Academy club team that became champions of the U16 (U15 Eagles remain all and under 14 ) and reinforcements from other clubs in Naples Futsal.
The squad began training at Fleischmann Community Park (opposite to the mall). The schedule will be Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-5pm during school vacations and when the players return to class time it will be modified depending on the schedule that suits the most.
The pre-selection positions: Goalkeepers Arnold Morales (Eagle Academy), Selvin Hernandez (AC United), Fixed Cesar Rivera (Eagle Academy), Jesus Martinez (Eagle Academy) Golac Paul Eaves (Eagle Academy), Carlos Acebey (Eagle Academy), Juan Juares (Hurricanes FC), James Tovar (AC United) Forwards Arthur Cole (Eagle Academy), Stefan Spall (Eagle Academy), Colvin Warburton (Eagle Academy), Jhoan Bonilla (Eagle Academy).
Orellana told us that the plan was to carry only 10 players but if all confirmed and show off in the training will take the 11 squad. This trip will have a cost of approximately U.S. $ 4,000 where the players will not have to pay a single penny as both leaders selected by Naples Futsal began the campaign to raise funds.
