They were 15-15 in the score where both teams couldnt give much more since they were tired. Ecuador took advantage of this and got another championship for their records. Juan Velasquez reappeared to save the Ecuadorian Team and came up with six goals and put his team back into the battle, when everything seemed that the game would be red and white.
Velasquez put the confidence that characterizes him and got almost every ball that led to their feet during the last 15 minutes of play and so Ecuador could again be crowned champions of Naples Futsal.
The final score was Ecuador 10 to 9 Atletico Peru. Goals from Ecuador Juan Velasquez (8 goals), Edgar Alvarez (2), Joshua Barrientos (1) and Christian Paz (1) discounted for Atlético Peru Gonzalo Torres (3 goals), Manuel Encalada (3), Edmond Kushi (2) and David Butzke (1 goal).
